USA - January 2023

Just after I graduated from Art school, I travelled to a couple of National Parks along the West Coast.

I decided to document my trip on film to add to the experience (maybe even challenge myself) while giving myself enough time to actually absorb what I was witnessing. Through this time, I realized I was more present in the moment due to the number of photographs I get per roll and to my surprise I actually enjoyed the process of not knowing what I’m eventually going to get. This allowed me to soak in the magnificence of nature in all its glory!

This trip was the beginning of my love for film photography, especially while traveling. It taught me to be open to trial and error, present in every frame I was clicking, patient until I got my rolls developed and accepting after I got my photographs!

Here are some photographs from: Joshua Tree (SoCal), Zion National Park (Utah), Antelope Canyon (Arizona).

film: Ilford HP5 Plus 400 (120mm)
