Ladakh - April 2023
The first time I saw visuals of Ladakh, I knew I had to visit it and it's been on my list for as long as I can remember. So when I moved back from LA in February 2023, I knew I wanted to travel across India and discover more of my motherland. Call it serendipity, I came across a photo tour exploring Ladakh and thought what better way to start my India travels. 

I’ve travelled a fair bit and over the years I have realized that while the scenic beauty, the food and the experiences definitely add to place, what truly etches a core memory is the People of the land. Ladakh to me was all about its People. They were so warm and hospitable like no other.  Through the week spent in various parts of Leh and its surrounding villages, we met so many wonderful people who welcomed us into their homes, shops and land with open arms. What truly changed for me as a Photographer is the connection I built and the trust the people showed in me, to be photographed in their truest essence and rawest self. Here are some pictures of the wonderful people of Ladakh <3
